Carrie: The Musical follows the story of an insecure high school girl with extraordinary telekinetic powers. An outcast at school, where she is bullied viciously for her differences, Carrie is also lost at home, suffering abuse by a fanatically religious, mentally ill mother. When PE teacher Miss Gardner, remorseful classmate Sue Snell, and Sue’s nice boyfriend Tommy Ross reach out to try to help Carrie, it seems that for once Carrie might have a shot at being accepted. But Chris Hargensen, the school’s wealthy and most vicious bully, has other ideas. With the aid of Billy Nolan, her bad boy boyfriend, Chris takes the bullying to a shocking extreme. Pushed to the brink, Carrie’s powers threaten to overwhelm her and devour everyone in flame.
